REPORTS TO: Project Manager & President
DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: Field Operations
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide supervision and leadership on the construction site, manage the Subcontractors and monitor the safety of the jobsite.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
· Review all design documents, submittal information and shop drawings and issue and coordinate RFI documentation through the Project Engineer to the Architect or Engineers
· Field verifies site and building conditions and follow the QA/QC check list. 
· Review submittals and field verify rough openings and materials as required. 
· Participate in the development and updates of the project schedule. Has the ability to think out 2 to 3 weeks ahead and ensure that subcontractor and materials are schedule ahead of time to ensure that the construction schedule is maintained. 
· Monitor the installation of all BMP’s to ensure compliance with the SWPPP documents
· Inspect all materials, MSDS Sheets and Equipment delivered to the jobsite. 
· Inspect subcontractor’s installation and workmanship to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications.
· Prepare daily status reports and maintain records of all inspections and tests
· Update and maintain the as-built drawings daily 
· Coordinate the weekly safety meetings and take meeting notes of each meeting
· Implement the Quality Control procedures as out in the Indecon Quality Management Manual. Fill out forms in the manual for each of the subcontractor activities to ensure that high level of quality control is maintained 
· Determine the sequence of construction operations to ensure that the material and equipment are being installed consistently with the Project Manager’s directives, Subcontractor Agreements, and the established Construction Schedule
· Maintain the performance of the Subcontractors at a level consistent with the established Construction Schedule
· Ensure that all work, whether performed by subcontractors, meets the highest standards of quality workmanship.
· Ensure that all on-site activities are carried out in strict accordance with the Company’s Loss Control Manual and all applicable OSHA safety regulations
· Maintain orderly work areas that are secure from unlawful intrusion and protect the public
· Fill out the daily report form in detail by the end of each day
· Walk the site each day and verify that the subcontractor is removing their materials for the site and building on a daily basis. 
· Provide excellent customer service, including accommodating customer’s needs in a professional and courteous manner.
· Can self-perform construction activities will be required including installation of some drywall, taping, wood framing and installation of doors and hardware. 
· Field verifies all existing conditions, checks submittals, and confirm project elevations and rough-in openings before installation of new materials. 
· General clean-up including the removal of debris and sweeping of the floor may be required to maintain a clean and safe jobsite.

· Knowledge of all Federal/Local laws and regulations
· Knowledge of Q.C. and Safety Standards
· Knowledge of SWPPP BMP’s
· Ability to perform schedule maintenance
· Ability to maintain As-Built Drawings
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 5-7 years commercial and tenant improvement construction experience
· Experience as a Rough Carpenter
· Solid Communication and Computer Skills
· 10 Hour OSHA Certification
· Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
· Reliability, dependability, and flexibility
